ISSN 1834-3635 Call for Papers for next three issues (pdf 38kb) Vision StatementPractice Reflexions is the professional journal of the Australian Institute of Welfare and Community Workers and is supported by the Social and Community Welfare section of Monash University Gippsland. Practice Reflexions sets out to combine the interests of the social and community welfare and human services sectors through active, reflexive, collaborative and informed engagement between practitioners, service users, communities, researchers, policy makers and academics. The e-journal seeks to foster shared practice wisdom and rigorous research as well as encouraging and welcoming a broad range of perspectives and contributions that incorporate reflexive, creative and anti-oppressive approaches. The e-journal publishes both refereed and non-refereed articles, letters, comments to a discussion forum, photographs, and book reviews. Editorial discretion applies to all contributions. The editors will always be interested in assisting practitioners and others to develop their ideas into a publishable form, and in some cases, to co-write articles.
